A real-world thinking lab for growing minds.
The world is playing games with your child's attention.
Will they know when they're being played?
Streetwise helps kids notice, question, decide and adapt - before the stakes get real.
Don't get played. Be streetwise.
Why This. Why Now.
The world they're navigating is already more complicated than it looks.
Your child is 13. Every day, they are making choices about money, friends, attention and who to trust - often without realising what is influencing them.
These are the years when they begin making more decisions without you beside them. The habits they build now can shape how they spend, choose, handle pressure and think for themselves for years to come.
What Streetwise Is
Not another class.
A place to practise judgment.
Streetwise is a 12-session offline thinking lab for preteens and teenagers. No marks, no lectures, no worksheets. Kids step into real-world situations involving money, influence, pressure and difficult choices - and work out what to do.
At Streetwise, it's not about who gets the answer right.
It's about who can explain their thinking and
change it when the evidence changes.
Being wrong is fine but staying wrong because you refuse to rethink isn't.
How every session works
The Situation
Every session opens with a real-world scenario - a decision, a deal, a conflict, an argument. Something that feels immediate and relevant.
The Call
Kids make a decision with the information they have. No right answer is announced. No teacher hints. They commit to a choice.
The Reveal
What actually happened - and why. The catch they missed, the assumption that tripped them, or the move they got exactly right.
The Principle
The idea behind the situation gets named - once the group has already felt it. Understanding what just happened to you lands differently than being told in advance.
A safe place to make bad decisions, before bad decisions get expensive.
What Your Child Develops
Four habits that don't show up on a report card
Across 12 sessions, the programme builds four interconnected ways of thinking. Not theories to memorise - habits that stick because they were practised under pressure.
01
How Your Brain Tricks You
Why can the wrong answer feel completely right?
- Spot assumptions hiding behind first impressions
- Test conclusions before acting on them
- Change your mind when the evidence changes
02
How Money & Business Really Work
Understand what prices, offers and incentives are really doing.
- Follow the money - who benefits from this deal?
- Question the offer before accepting it
- Understand trade-offs and hidden costs
03
How Attention & Pressure Are Designed
Notice what is competing for their choices.
- Recognise persuasion when it is happening
- Handle peer pressure with clarity, not conflict
- Reclaim control of their own attention
04
How to Decide, and Defend It
Make a call when there is no obvious right answer.
- Weigh options honestly, including trade-offs
- Explain and defend a decision with reasoning
- Learn from outcomes without catastrophising
The Streetwise Code
Three principles. One habit.
These aren't rules handed down. They are questions the group builds together, one week at a time. By Week 12, they are not posters on a wall. They are how your child actually thinks.
The Streetwise Check
It doesn't feel like a class.
That's the point.
Two friends. Same ₹10,000 shoes.
Friend 1 has ₹20,000 saved. Buys them without thinking.
Friend 2 has ₹5,000. Borrows the rest. Buys them anyway.
The room votes: who made the smarter choice? Almost every hand goes up for Friend 1.
Then the reveal. Friend 1 bought them because an influencer wears them. Friend 2 bought them because their old shoes were worn out, and they needed a pair that would last for the next two years.
The room goes quiet. Then loud. Suddenly, the bank balance isn't the point.
Nobody loses anything real. But every kid in that room will think twice the next time they want something.
"Am I paying for the price tag, the influence, or something I actually need?"

Inside the Streetwise Lab
It looks like play.
It's built to change how they think.
Different weeks bring different challenges, but a few Streetwise tools keep showing up throughout the journey.
The Streetwise Passport
Kids earn badges for how they think, not what they score. Spotted the Trick. Changed My Mind. Made the Call.
Real Stakes. Safe Consequences.
Fake money, real decisions. Negotiate, spend, lose, adapt - without having to learn the hard way first.
Confidence vs Certainty
"How sure are you?" They state their confidence before the reveal. Sometimes being wrong is the whole lesson.
The Wall of Tricks
Every pricing trick, pressure line and attention trap they catch goes on the wall. By Session 12, it fills a room.
Streetwise Court
A claim goes on trial. Make the case, defend your thinking - then answer: "What would change your mind?"
The Decision Journal
Not what the teacher said. What they thought, what they missed, and how their thinking changed across 12 sessions.
The goal isn't a child who knows more. It's a child who notices more.
The 12-Week Journey
12 sessions.
Real-world thinking.
Every session, a new situation. No memorising models - they experience the idea first, then learn why it works. Tap any session to see what happens inside.
The Pilot
12 sessions.
One small room.
A lot of thinking.
Small by design.
Streetwise is built around the moment when a child has to make the call - not just answer a question. They need room to argue, disagree, take a risk, get it wrong, change their mind, and try again.
With 16–20 students, the room stays small enough for those moments to happen, and for the facilitator to notice when they do. Everyone gets space to think, speak and be challenged.
The pilot is the first time Streetwise runs as a programme. Details about the facilitator, experience and background will be shared with families before the cohort begins.
Parent communication
Each week, parents receive a short update - what the group explored, and a question to continue the conversation at home. Not a report card. Just enough to keep the thinking going outside the room.
